April 21, 2025 - Psalm‬ ‭118‬:‭24‬, ‭26a

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” Psalm 118:24, 26a ESV

All praise be to you, our Lord. For you have created all things. Every breath we take is done so because of your grace over us. It is you who gives all life. We praise you for the life that you have granted us this day. What an honor to have another day to serve you. Help us to remember that no matter what we are facing on any given day, that this is the day that you made. Open our eyes to see your amazing blessings that are all around us. Teach us to rejoice in you, your grace, and your blessings each day. Fill us with your joy and gratefulness even in the hard times. We praise you for your joy and strength that isn’t based on circumstances but is given freely to your children. We praise you for how wonderful your blessings are over us. We praise you that you have adopted us as your children. We praise you for all that came with that adoption. It isn’t just something nice to say, it changes everything about us and how we walk in the world around us. We praise you for the privileges that come with being a child of God. It is remarkable how you love and honor us when we are so far from deserving it. Help us learn to honor you by accepting and walking in all that you have given us. We praise you that we are truly blessed because we come in the name of the Lord! You are such a wonderful Father!
