“Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”” Psalm 16:1-2 ESV
Lord, we praise you for being our ever-present place of refuge. We can always depend on you. No matter what we are facing in life, you are there for us. There is no storm that can blow us out of your grip. You have us safely stowed in the palm of your hand and it is safe to put our trust in you. We can always trust in your faithfulness. We thank you that you preserve us and work everything out for our good. Even the things that we would swear are tearing us apart, are used by you to rebuild us into something stronger.
Oh, our Lord of lords, we have surrendered our lives to you. You are our everything and apart from you we are nothing and have no good. We praise you for being the thing of value in our lives. We praise you, that in you we have value. What an honor it is to call you Lord. We willingly give you complete control of our lives and ask you to truly be our Lord. Worthy are you. So worthy are you.
