“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17 ESV

Lord, we declare this verse over our lives. Let your favor be upon us. Let it rest on every aspect of our lives. Show us any areas of our lives that don’t align with your ways. We don’t want to allow anything in our lives that pulls us away from you and your favor. We want to live in a way that brings pleasure to you. We want you to approve and bless all we do.

Let the work of our hands be established by you. We don’t want to do anything in our own ways or strength. Please lead and guide everything we do. Help us to always take the time to listen to you and do things your way. We want the work of our hands to impact the lives of others. Let it bear much fruit for your kingdom. When we think of the word establish it doesn’t paint a picture of something done unintentionally, but something intentionally built to last. Let our lives bear fruit that goes beyond even our time on earth. Help us to not get caught up in living an ordinary life of going to work to pay the bills and we repeat this cycle day after day. We give our lives to you, we surrender doing things our ways, and we ask for you to help us live in a way that the work of our hands builds your kingdom in one way or another. Let it all be done for your honor and glory and fully blessed by you.

In Jesus name, amen.
