“David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him.” 1 Samuel 18:14 NLT
Lord, we pray that we would walk with you like David did. Draw close to us and pour your favor over us. We want to learn to live our lives in a way that you are invited into everything we do. Help us do our life with you. If we try to live for you in our own ways and strengths we will fail, but if we can learn to do all our life with you, we will succeed. Give us your wisdom and insight in all we do. Help us be quick to see and discern what you are doing and join you in it. Remind us each day, and throughout the day, to ask you what you have to say to us. We want to always take the time to listen to you and walk in obedience to what you ask. We want to do the things that are on your heart and bless you. When we live like that how could it not be blessed?
We read about people in the Bible that everything they touched multiplied and succeeded. We ask for you to pour your presence out over our lives like that. More than anything we want a greater outpouring of your presence in our lives. Help us to live in a way that you are invited and welcomed into all our lives. Lord, when we see the greater outpouring of your multiplication and blessings in our lives, show us how to use it all for your glory. We thank you for the amazing ways that you have poured your blessings out over our lives already and the more that is to come. We deserve nothing from you, yet you love to pour your blessings over us. We can’t say enough what an honor it is to be loved by you and to dedicate our lives to you.
