May 10, 2025 - Romans‬ ‭15:13

“Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!” Romans 15:13 TPT

Lord, we thank you that you are the God of inspiration and the fountain of hope. I love that - the God of inspiration. You are the God who inspires. What a beautiful concept. What a privilege to serve a God that wants to inspire us. Inspire us to be better; to create; to see the world from a different perspective... You want to inspire us to live with hope. And not a failed hope that might not come through. But a hope in you, the one who is always faithful.

We thank you for your uncontainable joy and perfect peace. You said you want to fill us with those things, and we welcome that. Let them overflow out of us and onto the world around us. Grow our trust in you so in every circumstance we can rest in your joy and peace.

Holy Spirit, we invite you to surround our lives. We give you permission to disrupt our life, our way, our plans as you need to. We say, take control. Help us get rid of the things not of you. Then fill us with more of you and your ways. Fill us to overflowing with your super-abundance. Let your favor rest on us. Let the world be able to look at us and actually see something different. Something that they are drawn to and want. Fill us with your joy, peace, and hope that goes way beyond what the circumstances around us look like.

Thank you, Father, that this is your will for us. Not something we have to beg for and hope that you might take pity and grant us. No, it is ours for the taking when we put our trust in you. Let this be our response, Lord. Thank you.
