May 18, 2025 - Psalm‬ ‭16‬:‭11

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11 ESV

Wow, Father, how amazing are you. We praise you for the life that you give us. It is only through you that we literally have life here on earth. Yet, you not only give us life, but you make life worth living. You love us and give us value and purpose. And as wonderful as those things are, you have also made a way for us to have life with you in heaven for all eternity. You have given us three different levels of life, each exponentially better than the last. We didn’t do anything and can’t do anything to deserve any of the levels of life that you give, and we praise you for giving it to us freely.

We also praise you that in your presence there is fullness of joy. To be full is to be satisfied. Lord, you make us satisfied in your joy. Draw us near into your presence. Let your joy fill us to overflowing. A good and satisfying joy!

What an amazing thing that you want to give us pleasure forevermore. You are such an amazing God. It is truly an amazing honor to be loved and cherished by you. We are forever grateful that you call us your own and that we get to spend all eternity worshiping your Holy name.
