“It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke.” Isaiah 6:1-4 NLT
Lord, we worship you. You are so worthy. If we could only really get a glimpse of who you really are, how differently would we live our lives. Just listening to Isaiah’s description of what he saw is something amazing. You are so much more than we can even imagine. Help us live our lives in awe and respect for who you are.
Open our eyes to get a glimpse of your holiness. Let it wreck us. We welcome that. A true glimpse of your holiness would change everything. I pray for an encounter with you on a deeper level than we ever thought possible. Show us some of who you are. Open our eyes to see beyond the natural.
Let us worship you from a deeper place because you are worthy. You are the Holy God that the angels and creatures of heaven never stop praising. Let us never stop praising you in all we do. Help us to really recognize you and never take you for granted. Help us live our lives in a way that we are a walking representative of your glory here on earth for those around us to experience. Help us live our lives in a way that we represent you well.
Lord, we worship you. We cry out with the Angles, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!”
In Jesus name, amen.
